The Point! is a 1970 studio album by Harry Nilsson that combines quirky songs and narration to tell the story of Oblio, the only round-headed boy in a village where everything must have a point. The album was adapted into an animated film in 1971 and has become one of my favorite pieces of artwork- both visually and musically. By using bold type and pattern, I convey the playful, exploratory feeling of the album without relying on illustration to tell the story.
