I had the exciting opportunity to lead creative direction on a mini documentary about the Oregon Ravens, a women's tackle football team. As someone well-versed in (and incredibly tired of) typical sports design, I wanted to create a look that pushed the stereotype, just like the Ravens do! A red-orange and cream color palette creates an eye-catching look without being too “sporty” or leaning too feminine or masculine. I chose a type treatment strong enough to tackle the bold imagery, while still allowing the main emphasis to be on the players. The movie premiere event featured custom-wrapped games like Dance Dance Revolution, a claw machine, and photobooth—a unique experience that got people excited about women's football. Go team!
